Ethel Raicus
Ethel Raicus was a graduate in commercial arts from Central Technical
School, where she was awarded a scholarship, and went on to graduate
from the Ontario College of Art in Industrial Design. She had a career
as a commercial artist, industrial designer and art instructor.
She was a member of the Ontario Society of Artists and
of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, and exhibited with
both groups, as well as with a number of commercial galleries in Toronto.
Later in life she also became a noted writer and translator.
